I'm so sick of my old ass Nokia.

As soon as my boss gets in today I will be putting my two weeks in.
I just feel this is going to be the best thing for me right now. Maybe I will get rich selling cars, maybe I will be poor.
But I damn sure will enjoy it more and have my friends and family around.

I'm supposed to get my package from Old Navy today. I went to check on the UPS site to see when they were going to deliver it. It says that they delivered it today at 10:44. I go outside to see if maybe it's sitting on the porch 'cause sometimes they'll leave it in the door or under the grill. I look and there's nothing. So where the hell did they put it?!?!?! I'm so angry right now! I want my package damnit!

Here is my dyno run.
They had problems getting the tach signal on all the HR engines, so it was spotty. So no TQ curve(I've got one of the charts, but its all messed up).
But where it falls off is 7,500 RPM.

- Bummers
- My "fool proof" Julia Child pot roast was gross
- I am the root of the parking problem at my apt complex
- I just accidentally washed my entire washer-load of delicates on hot/cold instead of cold/cold
- I thought I had found a great deal on some gold hoop earrings. When the pkg arrived, there was one earring in it.
- I have washed, dried, folded and put away a total of 5 loads of laundry today. There are about 3 more loads to do.
- I can't run my dishwasher and clothes washer at the same time.
I am just being grumpy today, I guess.

The best way to find new comics these days is searching publishers on the Project Wonderful site.
A few friends and I are planning on taking a day trip to Hattiesburg. None of us are familiar with Hattiesburg, which is why we would like to go.
I was wondering (since so many of you are either IN Hattiesburg or relocating to Hattiesburg) if any one could point out some places of interest?
We all pretty much like looking at old houses, visiting antique malls, flea markets, comic stores, and parks/museums. It would be awesome to plan a visit to as many places as possible and to get to know the city.

The scrollwheel on my BlackBerry 8700c jammed up a few weeks ago, making the thing rather annoying to use. I've threatened to buy a replacement for about the same period. Friday I finally made good on that threat and purchased a Curve.
( rant regarding idiots buying cellphones )
My first impressions with the Curve are overwhelmingly positive. It's smaller and lighter than the 8700. It has two "convenience keys" which can be used to launch any installed app, as opposed to a single button on the 8800 series. Just like the 8800 series, the phone has an integrated GPS receiver. As is standard with the BlackBerry line, the retail kit includes a nice slip case for the phone, a charger, a usb cable, and the desktop software on cd. What really sold me on the phone was the discovery that it used the same battery as the 8700. Spare batteries are always good. On the down side, the keyboard is a bit smaller and one particular app, HanDBase, doesn't work on the phone. Also, AT&T has decided to load the phone with a dozen different launchers, which are basically apps that launch the browser with a particular URL, all for various AT&T-run web shops. Fortunately the OS on the new generation of phones allows one to create folders, move the offending apps to a folder, and then hide the folder so that even when 'Show All' is enabled, the icons won't litter the screen. Then there's the price. The Curve is $150 cheaper than the 8800. For that difference, I can learn to deal with the smaller keyboard. In fact, I already have.

Last night I go to turn the TV on. It comes on fine, but when I change the channel it gives me a black screen and the sound of static. Now it does nothing but that. I'm trying to hook up this damn digital box thing mom got for me, but for some reason it's not even coming on. I think I'm gonna go to Wal-Mart and see if I can get some audio/video cables. Maybe that's the problem.....I don't have any extra to hook that up to the TV/digital box. This is gonna give me a headache I just know it.
Edit: I got the box to work....there was a switch on the side that I didn't see. Heh....I'm not sure if the rest of the stuff I have hooked up to the RF converter will work or not though. I'm gonna try that out later if I get bored. I have TV now!

I did graduate. With a kick-ass GPA that would have given me latin honors had I been in honors college. But I wasn't. So it's just called highest honors.
This picture proves it.
I double checked; they will be sending my diploma to your house, Mom. Keep an eye out for it please... probably won't be for a month or two if I have to guess though.
PS: SenProj grades still haven't been posted!

Other things accomplished this week:
I'm gonna be lonely this week :/

I think I want to try to see if anything with Laney is salvageable.
I love the girl to death and I really believe she loves me. We traded some texts a few days ago where I asked if I could come see her one day when I'm home for Memorial Day. Not stay over or anything, but just make a day trip to Oxford so I can see her face to face and talk. She seemed open to the idea, but hasn't decided. She still isn't really ready to talk to me though, which I understand. This has been really hard for both of us. We do need some time apart to figure things out right now. I just really hope her time away from me reminds her how much she really loves me, like it is doing me.
If not, thats life I guess. But maybe its possible? I hope so. At least one more chance. I'm not ready to throw this away yet.

Weekend:
( .. . )
In addition to all that, an old friend added me on myspace and through her I found that my sister has a myspace page. What the hell is up with the family reunion on myspace? My aunt and I are going to catch up next weekend. I'll be able to finally meet her daughter for the firs time.
I called my sister and we talked for a little while. She is so much like I was when I was her age. It's so strange, though. When she was very young, she was girly and very demanding. I found myself relating more to my brothers than to her. But over the years, especially when she became a teenager, it is like we are on the same page intellectually. I guess she's still girly and demanding, but that's just her personality. She's a really rare creature that has both BOOK SENSE and COMMON SENSE. She's also pretty. She's basically a blonde version of me, but with dimples. She wins, lol
spell check not applied.
